MTF, ovvero Modulation Transfer Function (funzione di trasferimento della modulazione) è la misura della capacità della lente di trasferire il contrasto ad una particolare risoluzione dall’oggetto all’immagine. In altre parole, MTF è un modo per incorporare risoluzione e contrasto in una singola specifica.
